Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

If you're looking for a dish that provides maximum impact with minimum effort, this is your dish.  There is not anything easier to take for a pot luck meal, and you're guaranteed to come home with an empty dish!  This is a recipe I picked up from who knows where on the internet years ago, and it's one we come back to again and again.  In fact, I found myself searching my e-mail for it again this morning, and decided I'd put it here for easy reference in the future.


3 (16 ounce) OR 4 (12 ounce) packages frozen corn kernels
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 cup butter
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
salt and pepper to taste


In a slow cooker, combine corn, cream cheese, butter, milk, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook on High for 2 to 4 hours, or on Low for 4 to 6 hours.
That's it!  It's that easy.  And it's that delicious!
