Roasted Chicken

This isn’t really a recipe, but a process, and I don’t usually post pictures, but I happen to have an old picture so I thought I’d add it.  This is the BEST way to roast a whole chicken! I love the crispy brown skin and the moist, juicy meat inside.


Season chicken generously with desired seasonings (lemon pepper in this case.)

Fill cavity with lemon and/or onion.

Bake chicken at 450* for 20 minutes, then turn the oven down to 350* for 20 minutes per pound.
